Rootism is an art theory I created in 2007. It has changed significantly since it's first iteration, but the goal has always remained the same: to explore how we fundamentally communicate through visual art. After more than two decades of exploration, I believe I have developed an inclusive creation process that allows anyone to visually map their conscious experience without the use of symbols. I have also learned the power of Rootism comes not from any single individual, but rather from the information that is shared among all those who choose to participate; be that as creators or viewers.
